Join us for a day of rest and relaxation or fun under the sun at the Best Western Emerald Beach Resort. Enjoy daily special at the Palms Restaurant or refreshing cocktails at our pool side bar. Lunch is served daily between the hours of 11:30am-2:30pm in our main restaurant and lighter fares are available all day long beginning at 11:30am until at the pool side bar.

           

Visit our beach concession located off  to the right of the pool bar and inquire about snorkel gear, kayaks, paddle boats &  floating  mat rentals. Some rentals may accomodate two and four persons. Take in the scenery, enjoy the breeze or do nothing at all under the shade and in comfort. Talk to our  beach concession representative about securing  your safe haven on the sand.

 

SCUBA AND SNOKELING
 

St. Thomas and the surrounding area rank among the top 10 snorkling and scuba-diving destinations in the world. But just what does this area have to offer the diver? Only this -- warm water, excellent underwater visibility, myriad varieties of marine life, plus a chance of swimming among some of the most beautiful coral reefs in the world. Come and see for yourself.

SPORT FISHING

The deep blue, clear waters of the Virgin Islands are ideal for gamefish, and the region is on the migratory paths of classic fighting fish such as marlin. At certain times of the year, the sailfish fishing compares with anywhere in the world; and this is one of the top three gamefish venues. Game fishing boats offer some thrilling trips. SURFING
 

During the winter season , when conditions are at their prime, there are a number of beaches where local and visiting surfers can now regularly be spotted making the most of northwesterly swells and prevailing off-shore winds.So if you feel like catching some waves - check out some of the local northern beaches during the months of October to April.
